Mushroom Training Program

NERCORP, Churchandpur had organised Mushroom training program from 4th to 12th December 2015, performed by State Bank Of India, RSETI in collaboration with RAMAF where S. Rajendrakumar was Resource person. About 21 trainees participated. On last day, certificate along with financial help were distributed & Bank Manager elaborated how to self-sustain by Advance & Deposit. They went for field visit at mushroom farm.
From 16th December, several training such as mushroom cultivation, spawn production, vermin composting, food processing, pickles, canning,etc. will be held at RAMAF office, Nagamapal, RIMS Road. Interested people can submit their bio-data.
The main theme of the programme is to provide the trainees a means of income generation and become self employed.
1st State Level Mushroom Exhibition cum competition will be held at BOAT on 23rd December. Registration form available at RAMAF & MUGAM office. Last date of submission on 18th December. Visit : mugamblog.wordpress.com for online submission.

Launching "NINGTHOU FOODS INDUSTRIES"

The closing function of the 30 days training programme on “Fruit & Vegetables Processing & Preservation” organise by RAMAF and launching the products of “Ningthou Food Processing Unit” was held at Shri Shri Nityainanda  Temple on 17th march 2013 with the honourable Minister, Com & Industry/Seri./Vety. A.H., Manipur, Shri Govindas Konthoujam as the president and Shri Khumakcham Joykisan MLA, Thangmeiband A/C as the Chief Guest. Respected Councilor Ward No. 3 I.M.C,Manipur -  Shri. Hijam Nutanchandra Singh Councillor Ward No. 3 IMC, Manipur Mr. B John Tlangtinkhuma (IAS) Director Com. & Inds. Manipur Shri S. Joykumar Singh Member, Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Devt. Authority (APEDA),New Delhi/Deputy Director Of Industries (FPI)/Nodal Officer (APEDA), Manipur Shri Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma Sr. Scientist (Plant Pathology), ICAR, Manipur Centre Soibum Nando Singh Director JSS Imphal West M. Tonjao Singh President, Association of Food, Scientist and Technology Manipur Chapter were also present as the Guest of Honours. All the trainees along with some members of the locality were also present at the function.

RAMA FOUNDATION Overview

The name of the trust is "RAMA FOUNDATION" and its short form is "RAMAF"

Brief History of the Trust:

      The Trust was originally started in the year 2000 by Mr. Soram Rajendra Kumar S/O (L). S. Ibo Singh. The Credit for the current position of the Trust goes to his hard work,commitment and dedication. He has always taken the initiative wherever needed to take the trust forward and help it grow. The actual declaration of this charitable trust was made on the 9th december of 2005 by Shri Soram Rajendra Kumar, a resident of Nagamapal, RIMS Road, Imphal West District, Manipur.  
      The founder was always desirous of creating a trust under India's Trust Act, 1882 for the purpose of executing works mentioned in its aims and objectives irrespective of cast,creed,community and religion in the interest of mankind. Today, the trust is in a good position from where it was, acting as a helping hand to the society socially and economically.

Mission

           To establish and administer different institution(s) or centre(s) or collaborate with any like minded organisation in order to enable to take up different schemes,activities and programmes etc, for the purpose of executing overall development activities hereafter mentioned in the aims and objectives.
  
Vision:
              To develop/promote activities in the field of Health,Education,Economy and Social so as to bring service,unity and prosperity for the upliftment of backward classes including SC/ST/OBC  and minority people who are educationally backward in rural areas in particular and public in general irrespective of caste,creed,community and religion in the interest of mankind.
